A 21-year-old woman was struck while attempting to cross the westbound lanes of Highway 401 in Milton on Wednesday at 7:40 p.m. with her 22-year-old companion. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the vehicle involved remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been filed. OPP is asking witnesses or those with dashcam footage to contact them at 905-858-8670.
