A woman is in life-threatening condition after being struck by a truck in East York this afternoon. The collision occurred just before 2 p.m. near Mortimer and Pape avenues.
Toronto paramedics transported her to a trauma center with serious injuries. The truck driver stayed at the scene. Mortimer Avenue was closed between Pape and Woodycrest avenues for several hours but has since reopened.
