On Saturday night, a woman in her 50s was admitted to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in midtown Toronto. The Toronto police received a report of the collision at 6:45 p.m. in the vicinity of Yonge Street and Bowood Avenue, which is located north of Lawrence Avenue East.
Paramedics from Toronto indicated that the woman incurred serious injuries, though they are not life-threatening. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene following the incident.
