A 40-year-old woman has been charged with impaired driving after crashing a pick-up truck into a fence in Windsor on Saturday. The incident occurred just before 11 a.m. in East Riverside, on Enfield Court. Witnesses reported seeing the truck collide with a wooden fence before the driver fled the scene.

Police located the suspect nearby and noted signs of impairment, including the smell of alcohol on her breath. She was taken to police headquarters, where a breath test revealed she was over the legal alcohol limit.

While no injuries resulted from the crash, the damage is estimated at $3,000. The woman faces charges of impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit.
