A 29-year-old woman from Cambridge was arrested Friday evening after causing multiple crashes. Waterloo Regional Police responded to a call around 7:10 p.m. about a possibly impaired driver near Lowrey Avenue South and Ballantyne Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found a black Tesla matching the description. When they attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver crashed into a police cruiser but caused no injuries.

Further investigation revealed the car was involved in an earlier crash on Concession Street. The driver was charged with impaired driving, failure to stop after an accident, fleeing from police, and dangerous driving.
