A two-vehicle collision in Scarborough on Thursday afternoon left five people injured, including one child. The incident occurred near McNicoll and Midland avenues, just before 4:25 p.m.
Toronto police responded to the scene, and paramedics confirmed that three people—two adults and one child—were taken to the trauma center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Two other adults were transported to a local hospital with similar injuries.
By 7 p.m., police updated that one victim’s condition had worsened to critical. The cause of the collision and the full extent of the injuries remain unclear.
