A school bus and a minivan collided Thursday morning in the Upper Ottawa Valley, but the bus driver and 12 children on board were unharmed.

Emergency crews responded to the crash around 7:50 a.m. at the intersection of Snake River Line and Stoqua Creek Road in Admaston Bromley Township. Ontario Provincial Police’s initial investigation indicates that the school bus was turning onto Snake River Line when it struck the minivan.

The minivan driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene. A replacement bus arrived at 8:15 a.m. to take the students to school. The investigation is ongoing.
