A fatal two-vehicle crash on Highway 17 near Terrace Bay, Ontario, on Monday evening left one person dead and two others with serious injuries. The collision occurred around 6:20 p.m., and emergency crews from Nipigon, about 105 km away, responded.
One individual was pronounced dead, while two others were taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. The highway was closed until nearly 4 a.m. Tuesday. The cause of the crash is under investigation, and no charges have been announced.
