Multiple crashes and jackknifed trucks have caused highway closures in western Ontario. An eight-vehicle crash at the Highway 401 and 402 split near London closed lanes on Wednesday morning, though no injuries were reported.

Another incident occurred at the Highway 401 and 403 split near Woodstock, where multiple crashes and a jackknifed truck led to lane closures.

OPP Sergeant Ed Sanchuk urged drivers to slow down, warning that the roads were icy and slick, resembling a “skating rink.” He advised travelers to reduce their speed to avoid accidents.
