A fatal collision occurred on the western edge of Tillsonburg on Friday, shortly before 12:30 p.m. Oxford OPP responded to an incident involving a sedan and a train on Bayham Drive.
The 56-year-old driver from London, Ontario, the sole occupant of the sedan, was taken to the hospital but later died from their injuries. Bayham Drive is closed between Highway 3 and Pressey Road for investigation, and the closure will continue for several hours.
The train remains on the roadway. Witnesses are encouraged to contact Oxford OPP or Crime Stoppers.
