Highway 11 is closed between Kapuskasing and Smooth Rock Falls due to a fatal collision, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported Monday. The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. just east of Fauquier, involving two passenger vehicles.
One person died at the scene, and another was taken to a local hospital. The OPP’s traffic incident management team is investigating, and the highway will remain closed for an extended period.
