A driver was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a head-on collision in the Township of Tyendinaga, northeast of Belleville, on February 5. The crash occurred on Shannonville Road, between Shannon Road and Scuttlehole Road, before 7:30 p.m.
One person had to be extricated from their vehicle by firefighters. The three people in the other vehicle suffered minor injuries. The cause of the collision is under investigation, and it is unclear if charges are pending. The OPP is asking anyone with information or footage to come forward.
