Ontario Provincial Police have charged a 26-year-old man following a fiery crash in Arnprior on Tuesday afternoon. The collision occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Madawaska Boulevard and Bridge Street, with one vehicle fully engulfed in flames when police arrived.
Though both drivers were able to exit their vehicles, one was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the burned vehicle faces charges of driving while prohibited and refusing to submit a breath sample. His license had already been revoked due to a prior offence, and a 90-day suspension has been added. He is scheduled to appear in court in Pembroke in April.
