A 24-year-old man died early Thursday morning after crashing his car into a building near the Glendale canal crossing in St. Catharines. At around 12:50 a.m., Niagara Regional Police responded to the scene at Glendale Avenue and Welland Canals Parkway.
The man, driving a silver Toyota Supra, is believed to have been speeding when he lost control and collided with the building. The crash also destroyed an electrical transformer box nearby.
Police are continuing their investigation, and anyone with information or footage is urged to contact detectives at 905-688-4111 ext. 1009367 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
