A 25-year-old Cambridge woman is facing an impaired driving charge after her car, a black Toyota Sienna, crashed into a building in Kitchener early Thursday morning.
Emergency services responded to the incident on Lancaster Street West, near Union Street, around 3:15 a.m. A witness reported hearing the crash and capturing a photo showing the vehicle in flames.
The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. She was arrested and charged with impaired operation.
The investigation is ongoing.
