A 31-year-old man from Hamilton died, and a 30-year-old passenger sustained serious injuries after their vehicle crashed into a light standard in Oakville Thursday night. Halton Regional Police responded to the collision on Bristol Circle, south of Plymouth Drive, around 9:45 p.m. The grey Porsche SUV, traveling east, left the road and hit the light standard.
The driver was pronounced dead at the trauma center, while the passenger’s injuries were serious but not life-threatening. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Collision Reconstruction Unit. Police are seeking any information from the public.
