An 18-year-old driver has died in a single-vehicle crash near Harmony Valley Conservation Area in Oshawa. Durham police responded to the scene at Grandview Street North and Rathburn Street around 4:40 a.m. on February 3.
The vehicle went off the road, hitting a light pole and sign. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Motorists were advised to avoid the area while evidence was collected. The cause of the crash is under investigation, and anyone with information or footage is urged to contact police.
