Toronto police are searching for a driver involved in a hit-and-run that injured four pedestrians on the Toronto Metropolitan University campus Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Nelson Mandela Walk, near Yonge and Gerrard Streets.

Two of the pedestrians were transported to hospital—one with serious injuries—while the other two were treated at the scene. The suspect vehicle, described as a green sedan with a cracked windshield, fled eastbound on Gould Street toward Church Street. No license plate information is currently available.

Following the incident, the university issued a safety advisory urging students, staff, and faculty to evacuate the area, though classes and campus operations were not disrupted. Emergency responders remain on scene, and updates will be shared as available.

Police continue to investigate and urge anyone with information or video footage to contact them or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
