A two-vehicle collision in south Etobicoke on Monday afternoon left two people, including a pedestrian, hospitalized. The crash occurred in the Mimico area near Kipling and Horner avenues around 5:21 p.m.
A man in his 30s was struck by a vehicle and rushed to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries. The driver of one of the vehicles also suffered injuries, though they were not life-threatening.
Authorities have blocked westbound Horner and southbound Kipling at Evans Avenue, with traffic diverted eastbound on Horner. Police are advising motorists to avoid the area and use alternate routes as the investigation continues.
