An Innisfil man, charged with driving without insurance, was later involved in a crash. South Simcoe police stopped the 23-year-old on Reagans Industrial Parkway in Bradford West Gwillimbury, charging him for driving without insurance.
Less than a day later, he was in a collision that heavily damaged his vehicle, though no injuries were reported. The driver now faces two counts of driving without insurance and other traffic-related charges.
In a separate incident, another driver, a 25-year-old man from Bradford, was also found without a license or insurance during a traffic stop. This individual was a repeat offender, previously charged for the same violations in Barrie.
His vehicle was impounded, and he now faces multiple charges. In Ontario, driving without insurance carries a minimum fine of $5,000.
