A driver is in critical condition after a three-vehicle crash on Highway 6 in Flamborough on February 1. Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported on X that the highway was closed between Concession 6 and Concession 7 before noon.
Authorities believe a northbound driver lost control on slippery roads and collided with two southbound vehicles. One of the southbound drivers was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Photos from the scene show significant damage to a dark sedan, along with a pickup truck and SUV in a ditch.
The highway reopened around 3:30 p.m. that day. The cause of the collision is still under investigation, and it’s unclear if charges will be filed. OPP is asking anyone with relevant information or footage to come forward.
