A collision involving a car and a transport truck in Huntsville on Wednesday has resulted in one individual being hospitalized. According to the Ontario Provincial Police, the injured party sustained “significant injuries” during the incident, which led to the closure of the northbound lanes of Highway 11 at Muskoka Road 2 on January 29.
The OPP Technical Collision Investigation unit is currently present at the scene and is actively conducting an investigation. The northbound lanes of Highway 11, along with the northbound ramps from Muskoka Road 2, will remain closed while the investigation is ongoing.
Authorities have advised drivers to seek alternative routes through Huntsville, with traffic being redirected to Highway 60.
